I have suffered great loss this year.
I feel as if I have lost my ability to see anything beautiful.
My lens barely feels heavy in my hands anymore, so often numb.
My fingers feel clumsy with the wind-up and the shutter can't even seem to bring the same satisfaction.

My breathing is labored, often painful.
My mind never seems to slow down when I need it to.
