See My Silence.

I am that shadowed silhouette in the dark of the night, flitting across the murky back-drop.
Weaving in and out of what is, what should be, and what can or could be.
I am the embodiment of that voice in your mind,
speaking so loudly it looks of screeching, echoing, yet there is no sound coming from my mouth.
The walls of my inner self are collapsing upon me, crashing against everything inside of me, collision.
I am realizing that my voice is lost within the sea of people, all wanting to be heard so strongly.
I have decided nothing I am feeling within is worth uttering to another human out loud.
My words pass right through, washing in and out of ear drums, never sticking.
I find there is a pointless sense to everything; as if with every passing day I spend in the dark drowning;
it's just another reason to stay silent with my own anguish, to be the one watching everything.
I will forever be, in the shadows. I will forever be the one that chooses silence, for speaking is at a loss.
I am the thing in the dead of night that your eyes mistake for nothing.
I am nothing but a fragment of light reflecting, I am nothing but your imagination.
